Fansipan Trek (4 days)
The four-day Sapa trek Fansipan tour begin from Sapa town takes you through local Black H’mong and Red Dzao villages. You also spend two night in camping tent before you get to the summit of the Indochina, Mt Fansipan. The way trekking down is easier as you take other hiking going mostly downhill to Tram Ton Heaven Gate where you are picked up by your vehicle and transferred back to Sapa town.
At 3143m Mt. Fansipan is the highest peak in Vietnam and the entire Indochina peninsula. To successfully conquer the highest peak, mountaineers need to be in good shape and properly equipped with such things as sleeping bags, waterproof tents, food, stove, raincoat, compass and other miscellaneous survival gear. Fansipan Mountain has long been the destination for those who is fond of exploring.
Trekking Fansipan mountain is not a easy activity. The Fansipan tours are not recommended for everyone. Trekkers are required to have a good health, training. People who have heart problems are not encouraged to take part in the tour. Contact Lotussia Travel for more details.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat – 2300m (L,D)
8:00: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa. You will travel by car mostly downhill toward Cat Cat village of Black Hmong minority, which locates right at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain range. Here you start heading up the mountain. After a couple of hours of hiking, you stop for lunch nearby a river.After lunch, you climb toward the campsite at 2300m ASL. Here you spend a night in tents. You can stretch your leg by taking a short walk around while your guide will be cooking dinner.
Day 2: 2300m - 2700m - 2900m - 2600m (B,L,D)
Today’s trek will continue as soon as you finish breakfast. You trek deep into the mountains and wild nature. By noon, you spend some times for lunch.
In the afternoon, you ascend toward the peak of 2900m ASL before descending to the campsite, which locates at 2600m ASL. Here you spend another night in tent before climbing to the top of Fansipan.
Day 3: 2006m – the top of Fansipan – 2900m (B,L,D)
Today you head to the top of Fasipan, which is the highest peak of Indochina. You get to the top after a couple of hours of ascending. Here you can enjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries and
celebrate your victory. You will then descend to a nice spot for lunch.
After having lunch, you descend again until you arrive in the campsite, which locates at 2900m ASL. Here your last night in the mountain will be spent in tents.
Day 4: 2900m – Tram Ton – Sapa (B,L)
Today’s trek will be soft compaired to the others. After putting down the tents, you start descending the mountains. You will follow trail and steps built of stone by Hoang Lien National Park. You stop
for lunch before heading out the mountains.
You arrive in Tram Ton in the early afternoon. Here you get on the car on the journey back to Sapa after the big loop in the mountains. End of Lotussia Travel service.
